It’s like a dog getting his first taste of flesh…once you get that little drop of blood in your system you ain’t ever gonna stop searching for that feeling. Holler folks, holler!

FRANKS WEST COAST TOUR RECAP PT. 6- BYE PACIFIC NORTH WEST :( BUT HELLO THERE SAN FRANCISCO

Mims here taking over for Jean. He is being a twerp and I’m ready to recap the last parts of our journey. Our next stop after a kablamo blast in Eugenc was motha effen San Francisco and what a time that was. We woke up bright and early at Jean’s moms house and hit the piney road. We arrived at the venue and there was a kitchen and food in the kitchen! I mean REAL food…eggrolls, chicken stuff, rice, saucey stuff. NOW normally I would not go anywhere near an eggroll, but I was feeling particularly adventurous that day. San Francisco and rock n’ roll can do that me. We ate in the dressing room and boy was it good!

YUM YUM EAT EM UP

After having a blast at our show we went and got burritos…there was a lot of food everywhere! HOLY SMOKES. Our buddy Sean showed us the way to a hott burrito joint and we ate the shit out of them. Another early morning ahead of us, we slept and watched the first 20 minutes of Twilight and then fell asleep at Sean’s house. We wrote a message to Sean in the morning with those magnetic letters on the fridge. It was tite! Then off we were headed for the holy hometown, Los Angeles. Bye bye Franny!

What’s wrong with my neighborhood?

“We have about 38,000 places that are not worth carying about in the United States. When we have enough of them, we’re going to have a nation that’s not worth defending.”

also this: “Please stop referring to yourselves as consumers. ‘Consumers’ are different than citizens. Consumers do not have obligations, responsibilities, and duties to their fellow human beings. And as long as you are using that word “consumer,” you will be degrading the quality of the public discussion as we go into the very difficult future that we face.

food for thought….. i need a big mac.

and there you go……….

now go do whatever he just said to do.

Blitzkrieg Bop

I DON’T KNOW WHY I THOUGHT THIS WAS APPROPRIATE, BUT I MIGHT APPLY…

FBI goes on massive hiring blitz
The nation’s premier law enforcement agency has 3,000 job openings.
By Terry Frieden, CNN Justice Producer

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Despite a bleak economic environment featuring wide-ranging layoffs and rising unemployment, the nation’s premier law enforcement agency is touting “one of the largest hiring blitzes in our 100-year history.”

The FBI has posted openings for 850 special agents and more than 2,100 professional support personnel. Officials say it’s the largest FBI job posting since immediately after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The FBI’s unexpectedly large number of job openings results more from attrition and a wave of retirements than from growing government appropriations, bureau officials told CNN.

The FBI routinely advertises openings for individuals with critical skills in computer science and language fluency. But John Raucci, assistant director of the FBI’s Human Resources Division, says current needs are much more wide-ranging.

“We’re also looking for professionals in a wide variety of fields who have a deep desire to help protect our nation from terrorists, spies and others who wish us harm,” Raucci said.

The lengthy list of openings includes positions in finance and accounting, security, intelligence analysis, training and education, nursing and counseling, physical surveillance, electrical engineering, physical and social sciences, and auto mechanics.

*Procedures for applying and a full listing of available positions are posted on the Web site fbijobs.gov.*

“This is a great time to apply for a great job in the FBI,” said the bureau’s chief spokesman, Richard Kolko.

Officials note at least a few jobs are currently available in every one of the FBI’s 56 field offices across the nation.

The FBI lists openings throughout the year, but seldom has anything close to the current number of available positions.

*The present job postings expire on Jan. 16*, but a new, possibly smaller set of openings will be posted shortly thereafter, the agency said.

IT SOUNDS COOL, BUT I JUST READ THIS AND HAD MY HOPES CRUSHED ALMOST INSTANTLY. ASS HOLES.

The Bear Necessities

The question is whether one should be able to use a cell phone and the Internet in American National Parks. But that seems like a waste of resources since bears have no opposable thumbs. The L.A. Times reports.

Annie Get Your Gun

Fearing the possibility of an upcoming squeeze on the right to bear arms, Americans across the country have been flocking to gun stores in unprecedented numbers over the past week. The L.A. Times reports:

“A week after the election of the nation’s first black president, gun buyers across the country are flocking to gun stores to stock up on assault rifles, handguns and ammunition… A few say they are preparing to protect themselves in the event of a race war… Whatever the reason, gun dealers in red and blue states alike say they’ve never seen anything like the run on weaponry they’ve been experiencing since election day, surpassing the days after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks…

“Obama ‘says he’s in favor of common sense gun laws… Well, what people up north think is common sense is something different from us down here in Texas. The criminals have all this illegal stuff. I don’t want to fight them with a handgun if I can get an AK. I’m entitled to that. I should be able to defend my home.’”

Yeah, and I should be able to defend my guns…
